A work for our time. “The Earth Cannot Wait” is a new art piece created with both watercolor/inks, then digital processing by the artist — to yield a powerful statement. The original painting from 2021 was on a white background, then was scanned and digitally edited to be a color-on-black print. It’s a hope for change and a reminder of the many miracles this earth has to offer.

From the artist: While, at first, I found this piece to be messy or out of control.. I later saw its message and found the beauty in it.. Somewhat self-explanatory but powerful — “the earth cannot wait” —is a call to action. You’ll find many animals tucked away, each trying to hold onto its means of survival in a cataclysmic moment of climate change. I feel quite passionate about these issues and I’m glad to be able to raise awareness this way.
