 “Pig”… the J.Heloise original & the card that launched the Animals series in 2010.  Some folks even dubbed it "the cutest pig ever" when it debuted at the Burlington VT Farmers/Artist Market. It’s been cherished for over a decade.

Artist Notes:

“This piece was painted in the Adirondack Mountains, while I was volunteering at a nature/trail center. A friend had asked me to paint a pig, and I couldn’t say no! I loved how the watercolor/gouache really lent itself to creating that beautiful pink-tone and that illusion of shine. All those little texture/color variations really bring it to life— and of course that tiny smile! A joy to paint, & I truly love seeing people respond to it with such happiness.”
